Amphibi-Kids swim The Channel

We wanted to celebrate our first birthday in style so we decided to swim the width of the English Channel to raise cash for a children’s charity.

More than 60 of our pupils paddled 35km in just two-and-a-half hours to raise money for The Forget Me Not Trust. We did this instead of our usual swimming lessons at Fartown School in Huddersfield and we even got a mention in the Daily Mirror and the Huddersfield Examiner - we're famous!

The children, aged between three and 10, along with their parents completed 3,371 widths of Fartown High School swimming pool. We even found time to squeeze in some face-painting and a raffle!

We were chuffed to bits when we reached our impressive target and raised over £200 for charity! Everybody had an amazing day and we can't wait to hold our next charity swimming event.
